The Grip Celebrate Slowfoot NTS Radio

NTS Radio w/ Slowfoot Records

We were joined in the studio this week by the lovely Huw from Slowfoot Records, who – as well as playing plenty of upcoming goodies from the label – showcased acts featuring in this year’s Crosswires Festival, which he is helping organise. I threw in a few recent discoveries, including Ethiopian cosmic travellers Admas, and dark new stuff from The Nag’s Head (which sounds like a grenade going off in a biscuit tin). Much of the show’s second half was consumed by Leafcutter John’s mind-expanding Kit Mix. If you happen to be near south east London this weekend you should really check out Crosswires Festival on May 3rd. Fantastic lineup for a silly cheap £5.
