Thomas Leer 4 Movements Ewan MacColl bad lads

NTS // Kit Radio & Alien Jams

I was joined by Chloe from Alien Jams for the last quarter of Kit Radio this week. For the most part I was playing some nourishing Turkish disco and African funk, along with plenty of Nina Simone to soothe my head, but Chloe’s proximity prompted me to put on some hellish sounding, cranium-battering Keymatic washing machine adverts – the stuff of kittens’ nightmares. This is the first time we’ve had an overlap (Alien Kit?), which gave Chloe the chance to spin some of the un-electronic records from her collection, specifically stuff from Sun Ra, Embryo, These Trails and Kink Gong.
