NTS // 24.11.13

It was something of a RECKNO special in the NTS studio this week, as I played songs from three of the rural English label’s recent releases, starting with our favourites, Alabaster Falcons. More new music came in the form of some soothing Jesse Hackett demos and Synaesthete‘s recent DIY electronic work – all clouded with a mist of reverb-tinged Satie, and closing with the remarkably transcendental vocal acrobatics of Kesarbai Kerkar. You can read a short piece on Alabaster Falcons I submitted to No Fear of Pop here.
