NTS Radio with Dramatic Records

I was joined in the NTS studio by Jack of Dramatic Records this week. Back to back songs meant the mix was even more schizophrenic than usual. A few couplets made sense – the stumbling arpeggiated snake charm of Elias Rahbani followed by “the Lady Gaga of Persian funk”, Googoosh – or the brace of Lollywood tracks around halfway through. Scattered throughout are exclusive new Dramatic tracks from the likes of Sebastian Palomar and Uther Moads, as well as interludes from the fascinating Parchman Farm recordings. Enjoy.
